Authorities have released the name of a Poway motorcyclist who died this week when he collided with a Lexus on Interstate 15.
Anthony Lee St. John, 26, died at the scene of the Tuesday afternoon crash in the northbound lanes just south of the Mira Mesa Boulevard exit.
St. John was driving a Ducati, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, when the motorcycle and a Lexus SUV collided. The impact caused St. John to be ejected onto the highway.
Paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but St. John was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death was determined to be blunt force injuries.
