The San Diego Clippers (5-2) secured a commanding 130-115 victory over the Rip City Remix (1-6) in a dynamic showdown Friday.

The first quarter saw 11 lead changes before the Clippers edged ahead by four points, driven by Tosan Evbuomwan’s 14-point surge and a hot 7-for-13 shooting performance from beyond the arc.

By halftime, San Diego had built an 11-point lead, bolstered by Nate Darling’s seven second-quarter points and a defensive effort that forced eight Remix turnovers.

Despite a competitive third quarter, the Clippers maintained their double-digit advantage, thanks to RayJ Dennis’ eight points. The Remix narrowed the gap to just five points late in the fourth quarter, but the Clippers sealed the deal with a decisive 13-5 run.

Evbuomwan led the Clippers with a season-high 29 points and 8 rebounds, while Cam Christie achieved a career-high 24 points. RayJ Dennis also posted career highs with 21 points and 9 assists. Braxton Key registered his third double-double of the season with 11 points and a season-high 12 rebounds and Trentyn Flowers chipped in 17 points. The Clippers’ stifling defense was key, forcing 28 turnovers including 15 steals and blocking six shots.

For the Remix, Bryce McGowens stood out with 25 points and Justin Minaya added 20 in the loss.

The Clippers return home next to face off against the Stockton Kings on Dec. 1 for “Holiday Night” with an ornament giveaway at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside.
