A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base lit up the evening sky Tuesday.

According to YouTube channel SpaceFlightNowVideo, which carried the launch live, the rocket lifted off at 8:40 p.m. carrying 20 Starlink internet satellites. It was the fifth flight for the first-stage booster.

SpaceX sent another batch of its Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, which included another 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities.

The flight marked the twentieth orbital launch from California in 2024 — so far, said Jon Edwards, vice president of Falcon Launch Vehicles at SpaceX on social media.

The launch followed the scrub of a planned mission out of Florida for satellite communications company SES due to poor weather.
