The last vestiges of cold Santa Ana winds will weaken and fade from the San Diego area on Sunday, leaving fair skies and warmer temperatures.

The National Weather Service forecast for coastal San Diego calls for highs from 68 to 73 and lows Sunday night from 42 to 50.

It will be a little warmer inland, with highs 71 to 76 and lows overnight 40 to 48. Patchy fog is possible overnight throughout the region.

The weather service office in San Diego said it expected “the weekend to end on a high note with fair skies and agreeable temperatures.”
