
The new Theresia M. Heyden Hall for Nursing and Allied Health at MiraCosta College will celebrate its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, August 21.
The $29.7 million facility will support degree and certificate programs for multiple healthcare fields, including nursing, kinesiology, nutrition, health education, and careers as medical administrative professionals.
The new facility is named for Theresia M. Heyden, an Oceanside resident and philanthropist.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. The event is open to the public.
