More than a thousand admitted freshmen and their parents are expected to visit California State University San Marcos on Saturday for the annual open house.
Discover CSUSM Day on April 12 offers students and their families the opportunity to tour the campus and residence halls, learn about financial aid, meet faculty and chat with current students about their experience.
Guests will also be invited to sit in on lectures from professors in marketing, liberal studies, sociology, physics and chemistry.
The event is free. Online registration is encouraged but walk-ins are invited. Complimentary parking is available at Parking Structure 1 near Barham Drive and Campus Way. There is also a SPRINTER stop on campus.
Check-in is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The program begins at 9 a.m. runs until 3 p.m.
Founded in 1989, the university boasts a mid-sized, modern campus on a 304-acre hillside overlooking the city of San Marcos in north San Diego County.
