A woman was killed early Saturday morning on Interstate 15 when her SUV crashed and split into two pieces.
The crash occurred at 2:35 a.m. on the northbound freeway, north of the Interstate 805, when the KIA struck the center divider, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Parts of the woman’s vehicle were in the No. 1 and 2 lanes, prompting the CHP to shut the freeway for approximately 45 minutes.
It wasn’t clear if another vehicle was involved in the the fatal crash.
