San Diego Police are investigating a string of eight residential burglaries in Mira Mesa and seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects.

The burglars appear to target corner houses. After identifying a target location, they enter the home through a rear sliding glass door and ransack it, taking safes, cash and jewelry.

Based on the information gathered thus far, the suspects all appear to be men in their late teens or early twenties, according to police.

Community members in the Mira Mesa neighborhood were encouraged to call police if they see suspicious activities. A photo of a possible suspect was also released.
