A 29-year-old man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the neck during a shooting in downtown San Diego’s East Village, authorities said Sunday.

The suspect fled eastbound on the 1400 block of Commercial Avenue riding a white bicycle, the San Diego Police Department reported.

The victim and suspect were arguing about 9:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of National Avenue when the suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the neck.

Paramedics rushed the victim, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound, to a hospital.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot, 10-inch tall Black male, about 30 to 40 years old, weighing 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black jacket and blue shorts.
