Firefighters Monday quickly knocked down a blaze that started in a residential outdoor shed and spread to a wooden fence in the Serra Mesa neighborhood.

Shortly before 3 p.m., crews responded to a home on the 3000 block of Murray Ridge Road and knocked the fire down in 11 minutes, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue.

There were no injuries and there was no immediate estimate on damages, according to SDFD.

It was unclear was started the fire.
