The Cookie Club Collective marijuana dispensary in Spring Valley was raided Thursday morning by law enforcement officials during a search warrant service that allegedly netted loaded weapons and large amounts of pot.
The raid at 8783 Troy Street followed “numerous complaints from concerned citizens regarding the illegal marijuana dispensary,” according to sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Cook.
While no arrests were made Thursday and the investigation is still ongoing, Cook said that during the search deputies “located a large amount of marijuana, marijuana edibles, $6,600 cash, a loaded semi-automatic pistol, a loaded semi-automatic rifle, marijuana paraphernalia as well as items used in the sales of marijuana.”
The sheriff’s SWAT/Special Enforcement Detail assisted the Rancho San Diego Crime Suppression Team and area detectives with the search warrant service, according to Cook.
