A 73-year-old Del Cerro woman who suffers from dementia went missing Wednesday.
Jan Mattei disappeared from her house in the 6300 block of Caminito Estrellado late this morning, according to San Diego police.
Mattei, who has a history of wandering away from home, is a 5-foot-3- inch, roughly 130-pound white woman with red hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, black cowboy boots and a white cowboy hat.
Anyone who sees a person matching Mattei’s description was asked to call San Diego Police Department communications at (619) 531-2000.
