A motorcyclist died Wednesday in a solo crash at a University City freeway connector, authorities reported.
The rider lost control and struck a pole in a median at the entrance to westbound State Route 52 from Genesee Avenue shortly after 10:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim’s name was not immediately available.
The onramp remained closed into the early afternoon to as accident investigators gathered evidence.
