A man already in jail on unrelated charges was re-arrested Friday on suspicion of fatally shooting another man during a quarrel in Logan Heights last month.
Antoine Heratio Brown, 27, allegedly opened fire on 28-year-old Jason Coney outside a home in the 2200 block of Ocean View Boulevard about at 9:15 p.m. March 10, according to San Diego Police.
Paramedics took Coney to UCSD Medical Center, where he died of gunshot wounds to the abdomen, Lt. Mike Hastings said.
Witnesses reported hearing people arguing just prior to the shooting and seeing several men running away afterward, police said.
Brown was being held without bail at San Diego Central Jail. He was scheduled to be arraigned on a murder charge Tuesday afternoon.
