San Diego police Monday were on the lookout for a man who stabbed another man outside a 7-Eleven store in the Morena neighborhood.
The stabbing at 5150 Linda Vista Road was reported at 3:54 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims.
A 43-year-old man was in the store’s parking lot when the suspect walked up and the two men exchanged words, Heims said in a statement.
Following the exchange of words, the suspect stabbed the victim once in the abdomen, Heims said, adding the wound was not life-threatening.
Police described the suspect as a white man in his 40s, last seen wearing a baseball cap, blue sweater, light colored jeans and running shoes. He drove a blue or green minivan with a sliding door, Heims said.
