A man grabbed a woman in an apparent attempt to sexually assault her in the Ocean View area of San Diego and it may not have been his first time, police said Friday.
The woman was grabbed while walking through an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Dennery Road about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police.
She screamed for help and pushed the man away, prompting him to flee on foot, police said.
“A similar incident occurred one month ago in the same block,” police said, adding that the suspect was a thin Hispanic man, around 25-30 years old and 5 foot 9, with thick eyebrows.
The woman in the earlier incident also screamed and the suspect ran away.
