The final retail tenant, Junction Bar & Grill, has opened at The Hub at Scripps Ranch, a mixed-use redevelopment project.
The restaurant has operated in Scripps Ranch for seven years and relocated to The Hub, a nearly 10-acre mixed-use redevelopment that features 260 apartments and 10,700 square feet of retail/restaurant space.
The 200-seat eatery has a menu that includes steaks, burgers, tacos, salads and pizza. Junction Bar & Grill also features indoor and outdoor seating, with 30 televisions, and can serve large parties and special events.
The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday and at 9 a.m. on weekends.
Other retail tenants that opened last year include two additional eateries, Big Cheech’s Chicken, Waffles and Sliders and Starbucks, along with Carroll Canyon Dental Group.
“The Hub at Scripps Ranch has brought luxury living with beautiful urban-style architecture to Scripps Ranch,” said Colton Sudberry, president of Sudberry Properties, the developer. “The restaurants are a welcome amenity to our apartment residents and the adjoining Scripps Ranch Business Center employees. The Hub is living up to its name.”
The project features one- to three-bedroom apartment homes, ranging from 614 to 1,391 square feet, with rents starting at approximately $2,700 per month.
The community has various amenities, including a pool and outdoor lounge area with a Jacuzzi and barbecues, a 2,053-square-foot fitness center, a club lounge with demonstration kitchen and a game room and media screening room.
The Hub at Scripps Ranch was hailed as a “Community of the Year” in the San Diego Building Industry Association’s Icon Awards last year and also was honored as the San Diego Business Journal’s 2022 “Best Mixed-Use Project of the Year.”
