
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Saturday for the 14th time in the last 15 days, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.753.
The average price has risen 19.3 cents over the past 15 days, including eight-tenths of a cent Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 6 cents more than one week ago, 3.8 cents more than one month ago and 8.1 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.682 since rising to a record $6.435 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose for the fourth consecutive day, increasing 1.7 cents to $3.183. The national average price is 3.3 cents more than one week ago and 10.5 cents higher than one month ago, but 24.8 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.833 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
