The Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa was named a top resort this month by both Forbes and Condé Nast Traveler.

The new Forbes Travel Guide named the “secluded SoCal escape” one of the world’s 58 most luxurious hotels. Forbes reviewed 1,017 hotels and ranked the top six percent.

Condé Nast recognized Rancho Valencia as the no. 3 resort in Southern California in its 31st annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

“We are honored to be named one of the top resorts in Southern California,” said General Manager Coni Thornburg. “We strive to be the best and offer the finest in five-star service and amenities.”

The 45-acre resort is located on a hillside in Rancho Santa Fe and features private, Mediterranean-inspired casitas and villas, red-clay tennis courts, spas and award-winning restaurants.
