The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped four-tenths of a cent Saturday to $3.601.
The average price is 1.1 cents less than a week ago and 5.4 cents lower than one month ago, but 63.4 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It has risen 47.9 cents since the start of the year.
