The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped four-tenths of a cent Friday to $3.612.
The average price is seven-tenths of cent less than one week ago, 4.8 cents less than one month ago and 65.9 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has risen 49 cents since the start of the year.
