The board of Cabrillo Credit Union announced Wednesday that veteran manager Anne McClure will take over as chief executive of the thrift that primarily serves federal employees.
McClure, who joined the credit union in 1992, was appointed interim CEO in May after working as the chief operations officer and senior vice president of human resources and compliance.
“The board is very eager to see where Anne leads Cabrillo,” said Chairman Bruce May. “Her experience as a dedicated credit union executive of more than 26 years has prepared her well for this new leadership role and we feel Anne will continue to expand, position and strengthen Cabrillo for many years to come.”
McClure is a graduate of UC Irvine and resides in Rancho Bernardo with her family.
The credit union has over 22,000 members and five branch locations in San Diego County. It was established in 1955 to serve Border Patrol agents, and has since grown to serve other federal employees as wells as Sharp HealthCare and the City of Carlsbad.
