KAABOO Del Mar — the upscale music, comedy, food and arts festival — has announced the sale of single-day passes and pre-sale discounts for service members, police and other first responders.
Single-day tickets go on sale at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 18, for as low as $115.
But through July 18, discounts passes are available for GovX members, active-duty military, reservists and veterans — plus military spouses, law enforcement officers and first responders and government employees.
Employees must be USAA to get the discount.
KAABOO on Monday also released the day-by-day lineup of singers, comedians and chefs for the Sept. 13-15 event at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Prices during the three-day military pre-sale are $95 for single-day tickets, $179 for Hang Loose passes, $676 for three-day Hang Five passes and $265 for single-day Hang Five passes.
Starting Thursday, single-day tickets Hang Loose passes for the general public will be $115 ($129 after July 28). Three-day Hang Five will be $319 ($359 after July 28).
The music acts Friday, Sept. 13, are Kings of Leon, Maren Morris, Snoop Dogg + Wu-Tang Clan, Reo Speedwagon, The Cult, Boyz II Men, Silversun Pickups, Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul, Andrew McMahon In the Wilderness, Plain White T’s, Vintage Trouble, Grizfolk, J. Human
Comedians that day will be Pete Holmes & Friends, Kevin Smith, Cristela Alonzo and Cameron Esposito.
On Saturday, Sept. 14, the music lineup is Dave Matthews Band, Black Eyed Peas, OneRepublic, Bryan Adams, Sublime With Rome, Squeeze, Switchfoot, Cheat Codes, Keunig, Badflower, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Blind Melon, Mix Master Mike, Laine Hardy, The Artisanals, The Gooms and Suckerbox.
Comedy acts Saturday will be Bert Kreischer, Jimmy O. Yang, Tig Notaro and Tom Green.
On Sunday, Sept. 15, the lineup will be Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Sheryl Crow, The Revivalists, The Bangles, Colbie Caillat, Lifehouse, Toots & The Maytals, Cash Cash, Xavier Rudd, Alex Benjamin, Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, Con Brio, Des Rocs, Perta, Walden, Kate Usher & The Sturdy Souls
Comedy stars on Sunday will be Wayne Brady, Bob Saget, Jen Kirkman and Taylor Tomlinson.
In the Amplify VIP Stage, performers scheduled are Tori Kelly and Hailey Whitters on Friday; Chevy Metal, Tim Reynolds and Sir, Please on Saturday; and The Bacon Brothers, Trevor Daniel, DJ Ricky For Real on Sunday.
In addition, Palate, which offers upscale local and regional delicacies and small-batch specialties from selected culinary artisans, features chefs Antonia Lofaso, Eduardo Garcia and Eduardo Garcia on Friday, Michael Mina, Nyesha Arrington and Travis Swikard on Saturday and Richard Blais and Ryan Gilbert on Sunday.
Multi-days passes can still be had. Three-day Hang Loose passes, which include entrance to HUMOR ME, are priced at $399 with a $26.95 fee.
Three-Day Hang Five passes, which include premium stage viewing and access to Amplify VIP Stage, sell for $919 plus a $41.95 fee.
Three-day Hang Ten passes, including access to backstage KAABOO Artist Lounge and Hang Ten lounges, and opportunities for meet and greets with artists, costs $3,999 plus a $131.30 fee.
