The La Jolla Music Society will conclude its jazz series with a performance March 4 by blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Keb’ Mo’ at the Balboa Theatre.
The three-time Grammy Award winner has been called a “modern ambassador for the blues,” with a style that embraces pop, rock, folk and jazz.
His songs have been recorded by B.B. King, Buddy Guy, the Dixie Chicks, Joe Cocker, Robert Palmer and Tom Jones.
Mo’ will take the stage in the historic downtown theater at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 4.
