A daylong probation compliance operation in Santee, Lakeside and an unincorporated area outside El Cajon left 14 people facing additional charges Wednesday.
Probation officers and deputies visited the homes of 11 probationers Tuesday to ensure they were abiding by the terms of their release, sheriff’s Sgt. Erik Munzenmaier said.
Deputies and Metropolitan Transit System security personnel also scoured the Santee trolley station, riverbeds, parks and other public areas for probation violators, according to the sergeant.
Munzenmaier said the 14 arrests were for probation violations, drug possession and outstanding warrants.
