The 2025 Rady Children’s Invitational tournament field includes a college basketball perennial – Kansas.
The Big 12 giant – winners of four NCAA championships, most recently in 2022 – will be joined by Florida (SEC), Providence (Big East) and Wisconsin (Big 10).
“Quite simply this is an amazing field,” said Mark Neville, CEO of Sports San Diego. “It was our goal to bring top college basketball teams to our event and these teams fit that mold. We can’t wait for next year.”
The third annual tournament will be held Nov. 27-28, tipping off Thanksgiving Day. Each day features two games, with the championship and third-place games taking place on November 28.
Next year’s tip times will be announced at a later date. All tournament games will air nationally on either FOX or FS1.
The 2024 tournament features NC State, Ole Miss, Purdue and BYU. The event begins takes Nov. 28 at LionTree Arena on the UC San Diego campus. Purdue is currently No. 6 on the Associated Press Top 25.
All 2024 ticket holders will receive first access to secure tickets for 2025. New ticket purchasers can join the Sports San Diego ticket presale list online. Tickets will go on sale in the spring with $5 from each ticket sold going to Rady Children’s Hospital.
