San Diego State‘s Jaedon LeDee can boast of two more All-America honors thanks to his stellar regular season.

He was named a third-team All-American by the Associated Press, along with an honorable mention from the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. They represent the third and fourth such nods for LeDee in the past two weeks.

LeDee was named a second-team All-American by the Sporting News and Field of 68 before the start of the Mountain West tournament, where SDSU finished as runner-up to New Mexico on Saturday.

A Houston native, LeDee heads into the 2024 NCAA Tournament averaging 21.1 points, with 8.4 rebounds while shooting 55.7% from the floor.

The Aztecs departed for Spokane, Wash. Wednesday ahead of their Friday game against the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Tipoff is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. with the game to be broadcast on TNT.

The senior has scored in double figures in each of his 33 appearances this year, with 12 double-doubles, the most by an Aztec since Jamaal Franklin had 13 in the 2012-13 season, according to SDSU.

LeDee ranks No. 3 nationally in free-throw attempts, No. 7 in free throws, No. 10 in points and No. 12 in field goals.

The 6-foot-9, 240-pound forward is the leading scorer in the Mountain West and its third-leading rebounder.

He also earned Player of the Year honors from news media covering the league, and first-team All-Mountain West honors from both the media and coaches.

In addition, LeDee was included on the 2024 Mountain West All-Tournament Team for averaging 27 points and 10 rebounds in three tournament games last week in Las Vegas.

Twice named Mountain West Player of the Week, LeDee also is in the conversation for two top awards in college basketball.

He recently was named a finalist for the Karl Malone Award for the top power forward in the nation and also appears on the John R. Wooden Award national ballot for the national player of the year.
