It’ll only be preseason, but Los Angeles’ two NFL teams will go head-to-head in a nationally televised game on Aug. 26.
The NFL released its preseason schedule Monday, with the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers scheduled to meet in week three at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Chargers will open the preseason — their first at StubHub Center in Carson — the week of Aug. 10 with a home game against the Seattle Seahawks. They’ll play the New Orleans Saints at StubHub Center the following week.
After the Week Three contest against the Rams, the Chargers will conclude preseason play against the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara.
The Rams will open the preseason at the Coliseum against the Dallas Cowboys, then go on the road in Week Two for a game against the Oakland Raiders. After the Charger game, the Rams will conclude the preseason at Green Bay.
With the exception of the Aug. 26 head-to-head matchup, the exact dates and times of the teams’ games have not yet been set.
