The Chargers couldn’t keep their first half momentum going Sunday, dropping their contest to the Buccaneers 28-21.
The Bolts jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter courtesy of a Phillip Rivers pass to Dontrelle Inman. By the end of the first half, they still held a 14-7 advantage.
However, Tampa Bay scored 21 points in the second half compared to San Diego’s seven.
Phillip Rivers ended with two touchdowns and interceptions, while Melvin Gordon had a touchdown in addition to 84 yards on 17 carries.
They travel to North Carolina to take on the Panthers next Sunday.
