Monday is the last day to vote in the Nov. 6 gubernatorial election, but you don’t have to race to the Registrar of Voters office.
California permits online registration and you have until one second before midnight to complete the simple form.
The official deadline is 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 15th calendar day before any election
Secretary of State Alex Padilla is reporting a record number of registrations and urging Californians to take the final opportunity Monday to register.
“With our new voter registration opportunities and outreach initiatives, we have 1.5 million more voters on the rolls for this election than at this point in the 2014 midterm election,” he noted.
