Harris, a former interim City Council member who is endorsed by the San Diego County Democratic Party, is facing an uphill battle against Faulconer, who is running for his first full term as mayor after winning a special election two years ago.
The new website asks voters whether Faulconer is doing enough on the convention center, public safety, street repairs, a new football stadium and helping the homeless.
“On almost every major issue facing San Diego, Kevin has been silent when it comes to real solutions,” the website asserts, saying Faulconer “hides behind speeches, a smile, and his new $3 million city-run news department.”
In addition to Harris, Faulconer is being challenged by independent Lori Saldaña, a former State Assembly member.
