Hello, Uptown!
This Saturday, May 30, Torque Coffee is hosting a Community Bookswap that gives guests a chance to switch out their old books for a new one they haven’t read before. Just bring some of your favorite reads that you are ready to swap for a new literary adventure!
Located between North Park and City Heights, Torque Coffee will open its doors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for book lovers who want to attend this unique event. In addition to the book swap, guests will also have the opportunity to leave with a new, custom bookmark.
Bookswaps have surged in popularity alongside Free Little Libraries that can be found throughout our Uptown neighborhood. These tiny boxes encourage passersby to look through, take a book with them and leave one when they can.
So, if you’re looking to grab a coffee, get a new book and meet new people, visit Torque Coffee this Saturday and continue experiencing everything that Uptown has to offer.
