Through at least March 7, Cox Voice customers will be able to make free calls to people in war-torn Ukraine as well as Hungary, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and Moldova, which are taking in hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing Russia’s invasion.
Cox, which has an extensive customer base in Southern California, said the free service will help families stay in contact as events unfold in the region.
Calls can be made a no charge to both landline and wireless numbers. No action is required to take advantage of the service.
