Bring some joy to you and yours by adopting this cute cat called ‘Jack Skellington,’ the pet of the week from Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

He’s a 2-year-old, 11 pound, male, domestic short hair cat with a red tabby coat who was a stray before arriving at another shelter. He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS program. He’s very affectionate and not afraid to ‘meow’ to remind you to pay attention.

This cutie is a very outgoing cat who demands attention. Jack really likes hanging out on the shoulders of his human friends and he’s not a shy guy. He loves meeting new people and making new friends and will probably do best in a home where his new family has plenty of time to play with him. Even with people he’s never met, Jack likes being handled.

The $100 adoption fee for Jack Skellington includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza St. in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. kennels and cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
