Rowan is pet of the week at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 9-year-old, 50-pound, female, Golden Retriever mix.
While she acts much younger, Rowan is technically a senior dog. Her previous family tells said that she’s a very well behaved lady in her home. She’s happy just hanging out indoors or sunning herself in her yard. At the shelter, her best buddy and playmate is a 4-month-old puppy. She gets along great with most dogs, but she can be selective when she’s out for a walk and she sees other dogs. Her new family will want to give her lots of positive reinforcement so she know everything is OK. Rowan needs a loving home with a family that will lavish her with love and affection.
