Head to Escondido this weekend for one of the biggest festivals in California.
More than 500 vendors will line the downtown streets of Escondido this Sunday for the Grand Avenue Festival. The festival, which has been ranked as the second largest street fair in California, has been around since 1989.
Festival-goers can expect live entertainment, plenty of food, local art, children’s rides and a lot of shopping.
This year’s festival also brings Ahmed Hassan, a celebrity landscape professional who has appeared on HGTV. Hassan will be on-hand to offer gardening and landscaping tips.
The festival takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Grand Avenue between Center City and Juniper.
