Freeway transition roads on State Route 67 in El Cajon and Santee will be closed for overnight reconstruction starting Sunday, Caltrans said.
The connector ramps will closed at various times nightly Sunday through Thursday, and will reopen by 5 a.m. the next mornings.
In Santee, the ramp from Route 67 south to Route 52 will be closed, as will the ramp from eastbound Route 52 to northbound 67, at 7 p.m. nightly.
And at 10 p.m. those nights, the remaining ramps between 52 and 67 will close.
In El Cajon, the ramp from Interstate 8 west to northbound 67 will be closed at 8 p.m., and the eastbound 8 to northbound 67 ramp will be blocked off by 10 p.m. nightly.
Caltrans officials said warning and detour signs will be placed.
