Police on Saturday searched for a suspect in connection with an assault that left a person seriously injured, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
A department official said that at 2 a.m. Saturday, the Oceanside Fire Department responded to Serena Avenue and Sky Haven Lane and found the victim.
The male suspect is believed to know the victim, who was taken to a hospital in Encinitas, the official said.
No further description of the suspect was available, nor was an update on the victim’s condition.
