Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting last fall in Lemon Grove, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Office.

On Sept. 18, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m., deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 2200 block of Dain Court in Lemon Grove.

When they arrived, deputies discovered 23-year-old Darron Willie Singleton Jr., a resident of Lemon Grove, with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Singleton died at the scene.

On Tuesday, 47-year-old Richard Charles Lee of San Diego and 44-year-old Reality Grayson of Temecula were arrested on charges of first-degree murder and criminal conspiracy and booked into custody at San Diego Central Jail.
