A passenger in three-wheeled roadster died late Wednesday after the speeding Polaris Slingshot ran into a ditch and its driver lost control and crashed, San Diego Police reported Thursday.
Officer Robert Heims said police were called at 10:54 p.m. to the 300 bock of 16th Street in the East Village where the speeding vehicle had collided with two parked cars.
The deceased passenger’s age or gender were not immediately known.
The 31-year-old man driving the Polaris sustained internal injuries.
