Hours after flames gutted an upscale Poway home, authorities located a woman who had been missing during the two-alarm blaze.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the Saturday evening fire, reported at 7:15 p.m. in the 16300 block of Martincoit Road, according to OnScene.TV.

The woman, identified as a resident of the house, was seen running back to the two-story structure when the fire broke out. She is believed to have hidden in a bunker or basement during the fire, and suffered some burns to her hands.

When Poway firefighters arrived, the home was fully ablaze, and it took crews more than two hours to put out the flames. No injuries to firefighters have been reported.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department‘s Bomb and Arson Squad also responded, as did firefighters from Escondido, Rancho Santa Fe and San Diego County.

A Poway Fire Department official told OnScene.TV he had received word that the city had condemned the home. He also said crews had seen a great deal of debris in the house and yard.
