A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a fire burst through a backyard shed in El Cajon due to a possible honey oil operation, according to OnSceneTV.

According to the report, neighbors surrounding a home on the 100 block of Chamberlain Avenue in El Cajon reported hearing an explosion and seeing smoke coming from behind a nearby residence. When fire crews arrived, a shed was found to be on fire.

Firefighters quickly doused the flames. However, some items were found that were determined to be suspicious in nature.

Police and a San Diego Fire Department hazmat team were called in for assistance, and El Cajon police placed one man, who lived at the home with his family, under arrest on a narcotics charge.

An investigation into possible arson was under way, according to OnSceneTV, but there were no details available.
