A suspected DUI driver damaged at least 10 vehicles in Poway early Saturday morning after his car went airborne into an auto dealership.
The accident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. at the Perry Ford dealership at Poway and Carriage Roads.
The driver hit two traffic-light poles, continued through a parking lot, then went airborne and landed on parked vehicles in the dealership’s lot.
Firefighters had to extricate the victim and he was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
The San Diego Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident.
