A motorist suffered major injuries Tuesday in a collision on Interstate 805 in the Serra Mesa area.
The crash involving a motorcycle and a Ford sedan occurred about 7:50 a.m. on northbound I-805, just south of state Route 163, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One patient was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego with major injuries, San Diego Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Monica Munoz said.
