An armed suspect held up a 7-Eleven store in Rolanda Park Friday evening and was arrested shortly after, police said.
The robbery was reported at 9:08 p.m. at 3603 College Ave., according to San Diego Police Department Officer Robert Heims.
The suspect entered the store with a gun in hand and demanded money from an employee, Heims said. The suspect took an unknown amount of cash and left the store running westbound College Avenue.
A short time later police found the suspect at 6300 Newsome Drive and arrested him, Heims said.
The gun turned out to be a BB gun and was recovered along with the money. The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Dante Bahena, was taken into custody, Heims said.
