An unidentified person’s body was found Tuesday in an Egger Highlands-area field.
The discovery near the intersection of Palm Avenue and Saturn Boulevard was reported about 12:45 p.m., according to San Diego police.
Homicide detectives went to the scene to look for any evidence of criminal involvement, Lt. Scott Wahl said.
Details about the dead person, including gender and approximate age, were not immediately released.
