A masked man wearing bunny ears robbed a 7-Eleven store in the Nestor area at knifepoint but was arrested a short time later, police said Monday.

The robber entered the convenience store at 1771 Oro Vista Road shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday, pulled a knife and demanded cash, according to San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros.

Delimitros said the robber left in a black Lincoln SUV with a female driver but was arrested a little later in the 1300 block of 27th Street.

The robbery occurred in south San Diego, near the Mexican border.
