The Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Poway.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Bank located in the 14000 block of Pomerado Road.

The suspect walked into the bank and approached a teller station. He then gave the teller a demand note and also told the teller he wanted money. After being given an unknown amount of cash, the suspect walked out. He was last seen headed south.

No one was hurt.

These images that were taken by the bank’s surveillance cameras. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20’s, standing between 5’8″ and 5’9,” with a medium build and dark hair. The suspect was wearing a dark baseball cap, dark jacket and pants.

He was also carrying a dark backpack and had a white gauze-like bandage around his lower jaw and neck.
