The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Sunday for the 39th consecutive day, falling six-tenths of a cent to $3.672, its lowest amount since Sept. 17.
The average price has dropped 38.6 cents during the streak, including 1.1 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 6.8 cents less than one week ago and 31.3 cents less than one month ago, but 27.8 cents more than one year ago.
