Ways & Means Oyster House, a Huntington Beach-based restaurant chain, announced it is opening two locations in San Diego.
The first location is at 1251 Prospect Street in La Jolla, opening in February, and the second is in the One Paseo development in Carmel Valley, opening in March.
Both locations will feature locally-crafted beers, raw and dressed oysters, lobster roll, and fresh, seasonal seafood dishes.
“Since opening the first location of Ways & Means in Huntington Beach, our top priority with every new opening has been to incorporate a sense of the local community and lifestyle,” said Dena Mathe, a founder.
“We give back to local charities, partner with the city’s first responders, listen to our regulars’ feedback and hope to become a part of the community’s traditions,” she added. “We plan to continue this philosophy with our new restaurants in San Diego and look forward to learning from and growing with our neighbors.”
The San Diego locations join existing restaurants in Huntington Beach and Portland, OR. The chain is also expanding in Austin, Los Angeles and Waikiki.
